7 gold medals, 9 silver medals and 2 bronze medals: The youth players of TTC OE Clarity Telefonie-Systeme Bad Homburg delivered an impressive performance at the 2026 District Championships of the Hochtaunus district. Across the different age groups, our young players showcased strong performances and secured numerous podium finishes.
The Hochtaunus District Championships for Youth 2026 were held on September 19 and 20, 2026, at the sports hall of the Taunusgymnasium in Königstein. The tournament featured the age groups U11, U13, U15 and U19, as well as the respective girls’ competitions. Both singles and doubles events were held throughout the weekend.
Seven Titles for TTC OE
With a total of 18 medals, TTC OE was among the most successful clubs of the weekend. Particularly encouraging was the breadth of our success: from the youngest participants through to the U19 category, TTC OE players consistently competed for the top positions.
Louis Yan delivered a particularly outstanding performance. The young TTC OE player secured two district championship titles in the U13 category, winning both the singles and doubles competitions. Yan already demonstrated his strength in the group stage, winning both of his matches 3–0.
Fiona Tao also contributed to the successful weekend, winning gold in the U13 girls’ doubles competition together with her doubles partner.
Among the youngest players, Kevin Lim also impressed. Competing in the U11 category, he reached the podium in both singles and doubles. Lim began his singles campaign with two victories, including a convincing 3–0 win in the group stage.
Strong Results in U19
TTC OE was also strongly represented in the oldest youth category, U19. Pepe, Haru, Lukas, Patrick and Julius collectively secured several medals and played a major role in the club’s impressive overall medal tally.
The success across the different age groups highlights the continuous development of our youth players. While the results are certainly something to celebrate, the long-term development of each individual player remains at the heart of our youth programme.
18 Medals – The Result of Strong Youth Development
The final tally of 7 gold, 9 silver and 2 bronze medals is not only an impressive result, but also a reflection of the breadth and quality of the youth programme at TTC OE Bad Homburg.
Throughout the weekend, our young players demonstrated determination, focus and the competitive spirit required to succeed against strong opposition from across the Hochtaunus district. Particularly in the close matches, their hard work in training and the support of the coaching team clearly paid off.
A huge thank you goes to all players who represented TTC OE at the District Championships. We would also like to thank our coaching staff and everyone supporting our youth programme week after week. Their commitment provides the foundation for successes like these.
